Romanian Mouse Traps
Apoldu de Sus, Romania
I found an interesting pair of mousetraps found in this Romanian home. The first has a design like a large plastic clip, that when stepped on snaps shut. The second looks to be handmade, and like nothing I've ever seen.
Bait is placed behind the small strings inside the holes. The mouse is forced to chew the string to reach the prize, but doing so releases the tension on the metal loop.
