What We've Been Eating: Sausage & Carbs
Chmeľová, Slovakia
There are loads and loads of different sausages, kielbasas, salamis, and other variously named processed meats molded into a tubular shape in these parts—many inexpensive (even for the shoestring traveler's budget).
Mix with an inexpensive carbohydrate: Bread, pasta, or potatoes.
Occasionally there's cheese involved.
Drink with water or tea (made with milk: bonus).
And sometimes, add in some fruit that we've picked or purchased and prepared: Applesauce, cherries, blackberries…

So happy for you all!
